Joining spiritual devotion to that of the formerly rejected physical body, the suite draws the unified human through the dark to the other side of the divide. Desert Sin presenting "Ningyo"weaves narratives through movement while embracing the beautiful & the grotesque within ourselves. Rooted in the tradition of Butoh, the Vangeline Theater is a dance company striving to utilize dance and various forms of artistic explorations as tools to heal our community, to bring dreams to the people and people back to their dreams. Sarah Jezebel Wood integrates universal concepts of beauty, strength and perseverance with fluid meditative prayer. Using modern tribal movements and theatrical representation she takes you on a journey into the unknown….." |
